This is likely to be the final variant on the J generation platform currently forming the base for the Astra. You get 460-litres of boot space and 1010-litres once you drop the rear seats.
The sedan is destined for emerging markets so could arrive in SA if that’s the case.
Seven engines are available, four petrols that start at 74kW and go up to the 132kW from the GTC. Diesels are available but GM may only introduce them after thorough testing.
The sedan is likely to launch at the end of this year.
