Ice cold Grand SRT8 hits SA

As if things in the local performance SUV scrum were not hot enough, Chrysler SA now ushers in a special Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 Alpine edition.
A development of the SRT8 available in South Africa since August 2012, the Alpine edition features unique Bright White paintwork and a Black Vapor chrome finish on the standard five-spoke, 20-inch alloy wheels.
Special gloss black exterior accents for items such as the bonnet and door badges, front grille surround, rear light bar and step pad are also included.
Only 95 units of this high-performance SUV will be made available in South Africa.
The Grand Cherokee SRT8 Alpine edition is available immediately from Jeep dealerships at a cost of R864 990.
