These are the first pics of Fiat’s new Viaggio (careful now). A C-segment sedan aimed at the Chinese market. The word Viaggio translated into English means voyage for those wondering why they would pick an easily mispronounced name for the four-door sedan.
Based on the CUSW platform that spawned the recently shown Dodge Dart and Alfa Romeo Giulietta the Viaggio comes in at 4679mm long and 1850mm wide, with a 2708mm wheelbase. For the moment Fiat intend to offer it with the T-Jet 1.4-litre turbo in 90kW and 110kW guises. Gearbox choices include a five-speed manual or Fiat’s double clutch transmission.
Although only slated for the Chinese market presently, a hatch variant may be derived that could replace the Punto.
