After the much-anticipated debut of the F12 Berlinetta in the USA and the handover of a bespoke FF to the British golfer Ian Poulter, the automaker from Maranello was also a headliner at the auction on the Californian weekend at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance
A rare 1960 California 250 LWB Spider Competizione went to an anonymous collector for over 11 million Dollars (including the auction fee). The car is an extremely sought after model and comes from the Sherman M. Wolf collection, who had bought it from its first owner in 1979 and owned it until last weekend – a rare car that also only had two owners.
At the same auction other wonderful Ferraris from the same collection were also auctioned such as the 1985 288 GTO and a 340 MM Spider, which sold for 1 million and 4.5 million Dollars apiece.
