Honda’s Urban SUV concept’s been shown at the Detroit show. Yes, it’s another B-segment fighter (read Juke rival).
The Urban SUV concept has made its world debut at the 2013 North American International Auto Show in Detroit and hits at the styling of an all-new small SUV for the brand.
The latest competitor in the burgeoning B-segment SUV market will be based on Honda’s new Global Compact Series platform, alongside the Jazz.
It will be launched in Japan at the end of 2013 before being introduced in markets across the globe.
In production guise, the SUV will be powered by Honda’s fuel-efficient Earth Dreams Technology. It will also incorporate a number of Honda’s small car tricks such as the centre-tank layout and ‘magic seats’.
